We will use a poo for this post I know that all of us poo but see when you have disabilities like tommy had or I have you can feel very Embarrassed i mean very Embarrassed to tell any one care givers no matter how friendly you are with them look I need to get you to take me for a poo and if you think about it when they come in to get you cleaned first thing they see is you sitting down and when they clean you they can tell how busy you were and they can see how much dump you have left in the pan before they flush it away and if you have filled the pan a person who does not need this support at all its much easyer for them as you can just say I need to shut the door and get on with my business

And when you are some where else like me it can be doublely Embarrassing as you do not know them as well as you know your mum and dad

And when you have no idea of where your toilet is it can be Embarrassing to ask for this support

Even when I am a broad it can be scarry for a few days even to sit there as again you do not know the place and yes having a disabilitie it can be Embarrassing at times and menny sighted do not understand how Embarrassed having a disabilitie can be especially when you need private care I get Embarrassed when they need to shower me and put my close on again sighted people do not need to feel Embarrassed at any time how wood you cope with some one showering you or even taking you to the rest room for a seat you would not feel Embarrassed that is how I gave you that example of michelle and tommy as tommy might of felt Embarrassed who says he was not Embarrassed

All the staff say and it bugs me as well when they make comments like we are used to dealing with poo in at phew and I think to my self it is ok for you to state this as you are sighted think of us who are able to tell you but menny sighted do not understand about been faced with the word Embarrassed no not at all and I wish sighted people who worked in care understood the word Embarrassed not even tracey understands about this word Embarrassed and how it feels to be Embarrassed and I wish phew wood stop commenting on silly things not to be Embarrassed with us

I feel its important to have a private life as well but if you feel Embarrassed and you can not tell any one it’s a shame if I think of any more samples of been Embarrassed to do with care I will share or having a bowel movement in care I will let you know talking of this I will keep you updated on what happens in may if I get Embarrassed again I did in march I feltfrustrated as well with that Thursday I thought you can not even have a shight in piece without all the staff around
